It has been a difficult end of the week, but I have overcome the difficulties ...and am not going to go into the details, other than to say it was a bank error that has caused a wide RANGE of connected accounts that had to be fixed, even AFTER the bank fixed their error. I'm not going into details, because I am going to be sharing as little personal info as possible in the future.
However, the situation has inspired me to write a general concept that is useful for others, as well. You should not put all of your eggs in one basket, as the old saying goes. Had I not had a Robinhood debit card to use, I could not have got an UBER to fix Chase, let alone other needed things. There is always a risk of something happening to any account, so it is wise to have multiple.
I'll just say that this can be applied to personal things as well. While some level of trust and commitment is necessary in relationships, you should be careful about the amount of yourself you put into ANYTHING .. relationship, job, town, etc...because you never know what will happen, and life has taught me the error of doing this, multiple times.
So, be happy and enjoy life. However, just like investment classes tell you to manage risk by spreading your money around in different stocks or items, it is important to apply this to your happiness and have MANY sources of that happiness, which no one company or person can take away on a whim.
