I was reading in an old journal of mine from a long time ago, where I wrote several notes to inspire myself. One of the concepts from that old journal was something that is more applicable to me this year than it has been in a long time, but it is always true in some fashion. That is.. when you feel doubtful or afraid to push forward, ask yourself... what do you have to lose?
Now, maybe you do have something to lose. Maybe you are in a good position, and you should not rock the boat. This message is not for you. This is for others that feels rejected, alone, emptied, etc. When you feel this way, sometimes you fear striking out with a new attempt, and maybe you are just testing the waters with your toes. That is the wrong way to go, and here is why.
You are ALREADY in a bad situation. What do you have to lose to go big and try hard? I mean... you are either going to get it or you will not. If you don't succeed, you will.. be right where you are, now. Nothing lost. However, the attempt make it more likely you will succeed and the bigger the attempt, the greater the chance of success.
In my current situation, I could either sit around the house lamenting my current state, or I can use that SAME TIME to expand my income and integration into my community. The latter will be more successful to my goals.
What areas of your life do you need to really give it your all? Maybe, its time you start putting feet to your intentions.
