When I was in high school, I fell in love with literature when I read the romantic era poets. I learned romance wasn’t about loving a woman but a way of seeing things.. looking with hope or sorrow but with feeling and depth.
Sometimes, I get myself in trouble by seeing more than exists in relationships in my past, but I’d rather do that than see the bare bones facts of interactions.
Everything we see and do is rarely as glorified as we make it out to be. Why should romance be any less.
